WESLEY DE JESUS BRUNO
Wesley De Jesus Bruno graduated in Photography from Purchase College, SUNY in 2021. He was born and raised for nine years in San Juan, Puerto Rico and moved to the United States in 2006. He has acquired a keen sense of awareness and appreciation for portraits, fashion, landscape, and documentary photography- the lines of which he blurs in his own practice. After moving to the Bronx, Wesley’s drive to make photographs increased. He is now focused on documenting the growth of his younger brother, the religious and spiritual practices of voodoo and other beliefs in his Bronx community, and the beauty that exists inside and outside of Black bodies.
